Roy was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He is studying chemistry at Princeton University as an undergraduate student. As part of the Chemistry REU program, Roy worked in the Stache lab under Megan Matter on direct thermal amidation utilizing photothermal agents. In his free time, Roy enjoys cooking, camping, and hiking.
